Training and Development

Training - Merlin has experienced trainers available to assess your training needs, design a tailor-made training programme for you and deliver a well structured programme to increase knowledge and improve the skills and motivation of your staff and volunteers. We are also able to deliver Institute of Fundraising accredited programmes.

Mentoring - Merlin is able to mentor staff new to your organisation or those who need help to develop into a new role. This is particularly useful for succession planning or when the staff member is the sole fundraiser in an organisation or when an organisation's management committee and/or board of trustees are volunteers or have little experience of professional fundraising.

IoF Licensed Assessor - One of Merlin's consultants is a licensed assessor for the Institute of Fundraising's (IOF) Certificate in Fundraising Management (CiFM) – the professional qualification for fundraisers. We will be happy to discuss with you how individuals or teams of fundraisers can best work towards this qualification. Merlin can provide varying levels of support as well as final portfolio assessment.
